Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army backed by International Partners killed about 50 Al-Shabaab militants after conducting joint operation near Harardhere district in southern Mudug region under Galmudug State in the country. The State-run media on Monday night released the news of the airstrike operation in the area, but did not provide further details and the group themselves did not comment on the latest developments in the region. But this comes hours after the U.S Embassy in Nairobi issued a Security threat over possible terrorist attack that might happen in Mogadishu’s International Airport and other key areas.“The U.S. Embassy in Somalia reminds U.S. citizens that terrorists continue to plot kidnappings, bombings, and other attacks in Somalia. They may conduct attacks with little or no warning, targeting airports and seaports, checkpoints, government buildings, hotels, restaurants, shopping areas, and other areas where large crowds gather and Westerners frequent, as well as government, military, and Western convoys”, said the embassy.
