Arta, Djibouti (Mogadishu24)–The U.S. Embassy in collaboration with the Association Arta Aid has launched a six-month English Language Training Program in Arta, aimed at equipping local youth with essential language skills to boost opportunities in the hospitality and tourism sectors.The program, funded by the U.S. Embassy, targets 60 students from the Lycée d’Hôtellerie d’Arta and the Sunny Hill Center, providing them with the tools to improve their English proficiency and secure better prospects for employment and development in growing industries.In a statement, the U.S. Embassy emphasized its commitment to empowering Arta’s youth:“We are committed to supporting the youth of Arta for a better future.”The initiative reflects the Embassy’s focus on education and skills development, recognizing the critical role of language training in creating pathways to success in sectors vital to Djibouti’s economic growth.The program is expected to enhance participants’ communication skills and prepare them to contribute meaningfully to the hospitality and tourism industries, which are key drivers of employment and development in the region.
