Djibouti City came alive yesterday with a grand celebration marking 48 years since the founding of the Djiboutian National Gendarmerie. Established in 1977, this elite paramilitary force has played a vital role in safeguarding national security. The anniversary event, held at the Sheikh Moussa Gendarmerie Headquarters, featured impressive drills and demonstrations, drawing attention to the skills and capabilities of the gendarmerie.

Prime Minister Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed led the high-profile ceremony, attended by senior government officials, military leaders, and international partners.
