The SSC-Khaatumo administration has announced the suspension of the vehicle road tax collection from April 10 to April 20, 2025. This decision is related to the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of Somalia to Las Anod.

The purpose of this decision is to ease the movement of people and vehicles, taking into consideration the importance of the Prime Minister’s visit, which the SSC-Khaatumo administration considers highly significant.

The SSC-Khaatumo administration also urged the public to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and adhere to the directives to ensure a successful visit of the Prime Minister.

Somalia’s Prime Minister, Xamse Cabdi Barri, is expected to visit Las Anod tomorrow. He is anticipated to lay the foundation stones for over 10 development projects in the area.

The SSC-Khaatumo administration also encouraged the public to follow security guidelines and operational protocols related to the visit.
