DAROOR, Jarar Region –The Somali Regional State Government (SRS) officially laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Rabaso Health Center in Daroor district on May 5th, a project valued at over 37 million Ethiopian Birr, equivalent to approximately 648,000 US dollars.According to a statement released by the DDS government media, the construction is part of ongoing efforts to improve essential healthcare services in underserved areas.The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the SRS Minister of Health, Dr. Muuse Ahmed Ibrahim, the Minister of Revenue, Maxamed Cabdi Cumar, and the Deputy Minister of Health, Mohamed Ayaanle. During the event, the contract was officially handed over to the successful contractor.Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Muuse Ahmed Ibrahim explained that the project originated from a direct request made by the Rabaso community to the regional government and the Barwaaqo Party. He emphasized that the community’s voice had been heard and urged residents to actively support the implementation of the health center.For his part, Minister of Revenue Mohamed Abdi Omar underlined the government’s and Barwaaqo Party’s commitment to advancing sustainable development initiatives.
