Qoraxay, SRS – The Minister of the Water Bureau of the Somali Regional State , staff from the bureau, and local leaders from Boodaley district visited six water wells being drilled in Galadiid town, located in the Qoraxay region. These wells are part of a big project to solve water problems in the area.This well-drilling project is funded by the Ministry of Water and Energy of the Federal Government of Ethiopia (JDFI). Two wells have been completed, two are under construction, and the remaining two will start soon. The total cost of the project is 101 million Ethiopian birr.The officials also went to Dhagaxbuur city, where they inspected the city’s water supply project. They visited the Tawlane wells, the main water storage tank, the new water agency office, and looked at how water is being delivered to different neighborhoods.The Minister and the other officials met with the companies working on the project. They closely reviewed the progress and agreed to continue efforts to make sure the people of Dhagaxbuur have clean and regular water.
