A delegation led by the President of the Somali Regional State (SRS), Mustafa Mohamed Omar, has arrived in the city of Garissa, where they were warmly received.

The delegation, headed by the President of SRS, was welcomed by Garissa officials, traditional elders, and various community groups.

President Mustafa Mohamed Omar stated that this is the first time they are visiting Garissa, emphasizing the need for Garissa officials to reciprocate the visit by coming to Jigjiga, the capital of the Somali Regional State.

The Garissa Administration Chairman, Nadiif Jama, who received the delegation, participated in extensive meetings and discussions with the visiting delegation, focusing on important matters regarding the relationship and cooperation between the two sides.

President Mustafa Mohamed Omar also made an official visit to Nairobi, Kenya.

This official trip by the President’s delegation is part of ongoing visits and meetings with various communities in Kenya.
