Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army’s elite forces and International Partners killed 30 Al-Shabaab militants after conducting joint operation at the border of Middle Shabelle and Galgudud region in south-central Somalia overnight.

Somalia’s News Agency SONNa reported that the operation was well planned one, targeting the militants, saying two trucks and one Toyota pickup were destroyed during the operation.

The agency did not mention whether Turkish and U.S forces carried out the airstrike in the area so far yet.

Al-Shabaab did not comment on the latest military developments in the country.
