Kismayo(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army and Jubaland State forces on Monday killed over 80 Al-Shabaab militants after the group fighters carried out attacks at SNA bases in Bula-Haji and Harbole areas south and west of Kismayo, the administrative capital of Jubaland State.Somalia’s Ministry of Information said in a statement that the joint forces also recovered weapons including RPG, PKM and AK47 rifles during the operation into Bula-Haji, Bar-Sanguni and Harbole locations.Al-Shabaab militants claimed similar victory over the fighting and attacks in which its fighters targeted three army bases and said that its fighters killed over 71 soldiers, adding this is only preliminary report.It is worth mentioning that the joint forces recovered those areas located between Afmadow and Kismayo towns in June this year while the attacks comes days after military officials in the region were planning to launch counter attacks against the group there.
