Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Civil Aviation Authority of Eritrea has announced the suspension of all Ethiopian Airlines flights to Eritrea, effective from September 30, 2024.

Ethiopian Airlines has acknowledged receipt of the suspension notice, which was communicated through a letter dated July 21, 2024. The airline stated that the specific reasons for the suspension have not been disclosed.

“Ethiopian Airlines has received a notice from the Eritrean Civil Aviation Authority indicating the suspension of all Ethiopian Airlines flights to Eritrea, effective September 30, 2024. The specific reasons for this suspension have not been disclosed to us,” the airline stated.
