Mr. Mihiretu, along with colleagues Mr. Tadesse Hailemariam and Mr. Abayneh Awel, addressed concerns over the unavailability of two Horizon Terminal storage tanks undergoing maintenance and delays in fuel delivery.Key Solutions Discussed:Immediate Storage: Utilization of the M/T Red Sea II floating storage facility with a capacity of 73,000 CBM.Tracking System: Installation of the Djibouti Port Community System (DPCS) at EPSE’s headquarters in Addis Ababa to monitor transactions and truck movements from Horizon Terminal.Additional Storage: Use of oil storage facilities at Damerjog Industrial Park.Coal Export Proposal: EPSE proposed exporting coal through the Ports of Djibouti to enhance logistical efficiency.These discussions signify a significant step in strengthening cooperation and logistical efficiency between Djibouti and Ethiopia.
