Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somalia’s Supreme Court has officially rejected the appeal of Sayid Ali Moallim Daud, who was found guilty of the murder of his pregnant wife, Lul Abdiziz, in Dharkenlay district in January this year.

The Benadir Court had sentenced Abdulle to death, a decision that the Supreme Court has now upheld following a review in March.

The case, which has garnered widespread attention and controversy, was one of the most sensitive and long-standing legal battles in the capital. Abdulle’s appeal was closely watched, but the court’s final decision confirms the original death sentence, bringing an end to the judicial process.
