Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The National Consultative Council (NCC) officially commenced its meeting on Wednesday afternoon in Mogadishu without the presence of Puntland State President Sa’id Abdullahi Deni.The meeting, chaired by Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, sees the attendance of other Federal Member States leaders, including Southwest State President, Abdiaziz Mohamed Hassan ‘Laftagareen,’ who arrived in Mogadishu with a heavy security escort.The discussions will focus on national security, the fight against Al-Shabaab, democratic processes, and intergovernmental collaboration, with proceedings expected to last for two days or more.
