Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-The Republic of Djibouti on Monday expressed its full support for the “brotherly” Syrian people during what it described as a decisive moment in Syria’s history.

Reaffirming its commitment to core principles, Djibouti emphasized the critical importance of preserving Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. The statement underscored the need to maintain national institutions, which Djibouti described as essential for stability and key to preventing further chaos.

In a call for dialogue and reconciliation, Djibouti urged all Syrian factions to prioritize national interest and engage in meaningful discussions to resolve their differences peacefully.

“Our country encourages uniting efforts to build a future marked by security, stability, and prosperity – essential conditions for Syria to regain its rightful place on regional and international platforms,” the statement read.
