Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-At least six people were were killed and several others injured after fighting between two clan militias at areas around Aden Yabal district in Middle Shabelle region and Moqokori district in Hiiraan under Hirshabelle State in Somalia in the past 24 hours.

The conflict between these two warring militias at the border of Hiiraan and Middle Shabell region is escalating time to time and it has been continuing in the past three months sporadically according to local community.

Attempted Peace efforts by the local community leaders aimed at ending the conflict failed. The latest meeting was held in Aden Yabal according to Mogadishu24.

Hirshabelle State officials did not comment on the latest deadly clashes at areas under its administration, nor did it intervene the situation, but afflicted media to Al-Shabaab exaggerate the conflict in the region and it’s believed that the group is adding fuel into conflict.
