RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – The Republic of Djibouti and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have reaffirmed their strong bilateral relations during a high-level diplomatic meeting held in Riyadh.According to Djibouti’s national news agency (ADI), Djibouti’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dya-Eddine Said Bamakhrama, met with Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed El-Khereiji, on May 19, 2025.The meeting focused on reinforcing the longstanding ties between the two nations, rooted in geographic proximity, cultural connections, and political cooperation.Both diplomats discussed ways to enhance economic and security collaboration, expressing a shared interest in deepening cooperation. Regional and international developments were also addressed, particularly matters relating to stability, Arab unity, and political balance in the region.Djibouti and Saudi Arabia maintain robust economic, political, and security ties.
