DJIBOUTI CITY – May 5, 2025 — The Government of Djibouti has officially endorsed the National Cybersecurity Strategy for the period 2024-2030, following approval by the Cabinet. Led by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Innovation, the strategy aims to establish a comprehensive national framework to combat cyber threats while ensuring the country’s digital sovereignty.Key Focus AreasThe strategy prioritizes:Strengthening institutional frameworks and combating cybercrime.Enhancing the security and resilience of government systems and critical infrastructure.Developing skills and raising public awareness on cybersecurity.Promoting national and international cooperation.Minister of Justice Ali Hassan Bahdon described the strategy as a pivotal step toward building a secure, resilient, and independent cyberspace. He urged all sectors of society to actively participate in safeguarding digital security for sustainable national development.“The Cybersecurity Strategy 2024-2030 is crucial in creating a safe, resilient environment free from cyber threats that undermine our country.
