Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-Djibouti and Chinese Governments renewed their cooperation on health area after Djiboutian Minister of foreign Affairs, Mahmoud Ali Yusuf and Chinese Ambassador to Djibouti, Hu Bin signing the new deal, aiming to promote their collaboration on health sector.

Mohmoud Ali Yusuf thanked Chinese Government for renewing the contract between the two sides.

“We’re grateful to China for renewing this cooperation in the health sector. China often sends us specialist doctors working at our main hospitals in the capital and the rest of our country. Chinese doctors have been operating at some key hospitals in Djibouti since 1981 while the two countries share 45 years of diplomatic relations”, Yusuf said.

“Signing ceremony this morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the renewal of the presence of Chinese specialist doctors in our Hospitals”, Dr Ahmed Robleh Abdilleh, Minister of Health of Djibouti said on X Monday.

“Many thanks to SEM @ymahmoudali & S.EM @RoblehDr . for the renewal of the Convention for the sending of medical teams. Let’s work together to further elevate our cooperation. China-Djibouti for the benefit of the people!”, Chinese Embassy in Djibouti said on X.
