Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Djibouti’s Parliament Speaker, Dileita Mohamed Dileita, arrived in Mogadishu today, welcomed by his Somali counterpart, Speaker Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur Madobe, along with members of the Somali Parliament and Djibouti’s Ambassador to Somalia, Mohamed Ibrahim Yusuf.

Dileita’s visit is part of an official invitation from the Somali parliamentary leadership to strengthen cooperation between the legislatures of the two nations.

Speaking to the media upon arrival, Speaker Dileita expressed his pleasure at visiting what he described as his “second home,” highlighting the close bonds between Djibouti and Somalia.

The two parliamentary leaders are set to hold discussions focused on enhancing parliamentary collaboration and reinforcing the deep-rooted ties between the neighboring countries.

The visit underscores Djibouti and Somalia’s commitment to bolstering bilateral relations through legislative partnerships and reflects the long-standing solidarity between the two “sisterly” nations.
