Djibouti’s Prime Minister, Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, welcomed officers from the Military Academy of the Armed Forces (AMIA) in Carta region. This meeting, part of the military officers’ training program, focused on the Djiboutian government’s role in developing and supporting the country’s armed forces.

The Prime Minister praised the Director General of AMIA and the academy’s officers, highlighting their key role in strengthening and professionalizing the national army. He urged the officers to uphold patriotism and work for national defense and security, ensuring they become leaders in Djibouti’s security and defense sector.

The meeting also discussed regional security challenges and the role of the armed forces in maintaining stability. Officers from the academy shared their perspectives on improving military training systems and enhancing future officers’ capabilities.

In his closing remarks, Prime Minister Abdoulkader Kamil congratulated the third graduating class of AMIA, reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening military skills and professionalism as part of Djibouti’s broader national security and defense strategy.
