Addis Ababa(Mogadishu24)-A Djiboutian business delegation, led by H.E. Mohamed Warsama, Minister of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Djibouti, on Wednesday met with his Ethiopian counterpart, Dr. Kassahun Gofe, Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, in Addis Ababa.

The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral trade and facilitating export trade between the two neighboring countries.

Both ministers engaged in candid dialogue, expressing their commitment to fostering stronger trade connections and advancing regional economic integration. Ethiopian Ambassador to Djibouti, Berhanu Tsegaye, highlighted the significance of the meeting on social media, stating the importance of these efforts in boosting economic and diplomatic relations.

The meeting follows recent visits by high-level Ethiopian delegations to Djibouti and its Doraleh port, aimed at strengthening economic ties and diplomatic cooperation.
