Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-President of Djibouti Republic, Ismail Omar Guelleh, returned to his country on Saturday evening, following a double mission that led him successively to Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).In Uganda, the 1st stage of his travel abroad, the President of the Republic, Acting President of the IGAD, led the work of an extraordinary summit of the Regional Organization.“The agenda of this IGAD summit was dominated by the conflict in Sudan and the new tensions between Somalia and Ethiopia, which emerged following a memorandum of understanding reached on January 1st between Ethiopia and Somaliland”, the Presidency said in a statement.In Uganda, President Guelleh then attended a summit of the Non-aligned Countries Movement.As for his trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the second stage of his mission abroad, he concerns his participation, alongside about twenty other African Heads of State and Government, in the inauguration of the President-elect of that country, M Felix Tshisekedi, including the service ceremony Swearing-in ceremony took place this Saturday afternoon in Kinshasa.
