Egypt’s Ministry of Interior announced that the government had delivered the police uniforms to Somalia. The Ministry stated that this initiative is part of Egypt’s contribution to the development of Somalia’s security institutions.According to the Ministry, the shipment arrived at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, following a directive from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.The purpose of the aid is to contribute to the organization and strengthening of the Somali Police Force. In a statement published on the Ministry’s social media platforms, it was also noted that the assistance included not only uniforms but also technical training programs.The relationship between Egypt and Somalia is described as historical, grounded in multifaceted cooperation.
