Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Moalim Faki Ahmed, welcomed the Secretary-General of the Islamic Dawah Organization, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Adam, to his office in Mogadishu on Wednesday. The meeting centered on expanding the organization’s humanitarian and relief initiatives in Somalia.During their discussion, both leaders emphasized the critical need to bolster the organization’s efforts in disaster response and humanitarian aid. The meeting aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the Ministry and the Islamic Dawah Organization to better address urgent humanitarian needs across Somalia.The talks underscored the importance of enhancing the organization’s capacity to deal with disasters, ensuring swift and effective relief for those affected. This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve the overall humanitarian response framework within the country.The meeting highlights Somalia’s commitment to working with international organizations to provide vital support and relief to its citizens, especially in times of crisis.The two sides also signed an agreement, but the Ministry did not explain what exactly the agreement was. The Organization is based in Sudan, but continues its main operation in Doha, Qatar according to the officials.
