Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Federal Government of Somalia’s National Center for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism(Tubsan) on Wednesday held one day workshop on revising its strategic Validation in the capital Mogadishu.Key religious figures, Members of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Ministers, civil society organizations, youth, women, FMS, Bendir Regional Administration and focal points for Tubsan Center participated the workshop.The PCVE Center said that members from the International Community also attended the work on countering terrorism.“Key participants present at the PCVE Strategy Validation meeting include Ambassadors from China, Italy, representatives from the British Embassy in Mogadishu, the US Embassy, representatives from the European Union Institute of Peace, UNDP, UNICEF, and others”, PCVE said on X post.These efforts come as the Somali Government’s SNA forces with the support of local forces and International Partners fight against Al-Shabaab and IS militants in the south-central and northeast Somalia. Al-Shabaab is designated to world’s deadliest terrorist organization.
