Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Gunmen armed with pistols have on Tuesday morning carried out an attack at fitness centre in Mogadishu’s Heliwa district, killing the owner and inuring deputy district commissioner of Darusalam for social issues.

According to the reports, the local authority went to the fitness center for Physiotherapy and the gunmen entered the center, killing the owner and injuring the official while taking his Parada vehicle, and two guns belonging to his bodyguards who escaped after the gunshots.

The perpetrators escaped as soon as the incident happened and no one knows the identity of these group. Al-Shabaab did not comment on the attack in the capital so far while the Somali Police forces remain silent.
