The Vice President of Puntland, Mr. Ilyas Osman Lugatoor, officially opened the Puntland Health Investment Conference today, organized by the Ministry of Health. The conference was attended by various stakeholders, including Puntland government agencies at different levels, representatives from international health organizations, businessmen, expatriates, and the community.

The Vice President stated that the conference would significantly contribute to Puntland’s health development policy and efforts to provide health services to all citizens.

He called on businessmen, expatriates, and various sectors of society to focus on investing in health services, while thanking the private health centers in Puntland that have already been established, which have shown significant community effort.

The conference, which will last for two days, presented health progress and ongoing work, and participants were also informed about viable health investment sources to help implement modern healthcare services in the country, reducing the need for foreign medical support.
