Bosaso(Mogadishu24)-The Puntland State Intelligence and Security Agency (PISA) announced on Monday that it has successfully thwarted bombings intended to harm civilians in Bosaso town in Bari region.

In a statement, the agency revealed that it intercepted the explosive devices just before the terrorists could execute their plans.

The Puntland Intelligence Agency provided images showing mines hidden in the ground. The statement from PISA did not specify the intended targets of these blasts.

This comes days after the headquarters of Golis Telecommunications Company were attacked, and security agencies stated that the attack was conducted with the aim of extorting money from commercial enterprises.

Attacks on business centers in Bosaso have increased, causing the destruction of property for several companies within a year.
