Mogadishu(Mogdishu24)-Somali National Army and its International Partners killed over 30 Al-Shabaab militants at Carfuuda area about 20 kelometers north of Harardhere town in Mudug region under Galmudug State in Somalia.

Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Somalia said in a statement that the joint forces targeted two stations where they were regrouping and preparing explosives, saying the army destroyed all their vehicles into those areas.

“The main objective of the Federal Government of Somalia is to liberates terrorists from the whole country”, the statement added.

Al-Shabaab did not comment on the latest claims made by the Somali Government, but it said that its fighters launched attacks into Burundian forces under the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia(ATMIS) on Tuesday evening, but it did not comment on if there were casualties.
