Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, met with James Swan, the Acting Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Somalia and Head of the UN Assistance Mission for Somalia (UNSOM), in Mogadishu on Wednesday. The meeting focused on enhancing the partnership between Somalia and the United Nations.Key discussions included the progress of the joint committee working to establish a UN country office in Somalia, aimed at strengthening the UN’s presence and involvement in the country.
