Asmara(Mogadishu24)-Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Asmara on Wednesday evening, following an invitation from Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki. President Mohamud, accompanied by a delegation that includes Foreign Minister Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, was warmly received by President Afwerki and senior Eritrean officials at Asmara International Airport.The three-day official visit will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Somalia and Eritrea, with discussions set to cover economic collaboration, security, and stability in the Horn of Africa. Both leaders are expected to address regional and international issues of mutual interest during their meetings.Eritrean Minister of Information Yemane G. Meskel confirmed the agenda, stating that the two heads of state would work on enhancing the comprehensive ties between their nations.
