Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Monday received a high-level Danish delegation at Villa Somalia, including Ms. Christina Markus Lassen, the Danish Permanent Representative to the United Nations; Mr. Steen Sonne Andersen, the Danish Ambassador to Somalia; and Mr. Ketil Iversen Karlsen, Director for Africa, Development Policy, and Financing.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between Somalia and Denmark, focusing on key areas such as security, climate change, state-building, and development according to Villa Somalia.

The discussions emphasized deepening cooperation to support Somalia’s ongoing efforts in these critical areas.

President Mohamud expressed his appreciation for Denmark’s continued support and commitment to Somalia’s progress, highlighting the importance of collaboration in achieving shared goals for stability and growth in the region.
