Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sh. Mohamud has on Saturday returned back home without completing the 37th African Union Summit which opened in Addis Ababa, a sign of diplomatic row with Ethiopian Government.President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud strongly condemned the Ethiopian government under Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed for blatantly infringing on Somalia’s sovereignty and aggressively seeking to annex its territory during a press conference upon his departure.The President highlighted an incident of his convoy and President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti, along with their accompanying delegations, faced forceful attempts by Ethiopian Government security personnel to prevent their entry into the summit proceedings according to a statement from the Villa-Somalia. He called the regrettable incident a clear breach of diplomatic protocols and an abuse of presidential diplomatic immunity.President Hassan attend the first day of two of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian where he also delivered a speech about Somalia’s tough stance against MoU with Somaliland, leasing Ethiopia 20 kilometers of sea access.
