Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Federal Government of Somalia and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) have signed a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance their collaborative efforts in serving the Somali people.

The MoU was signed by Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Mr. Frantz Celestin, Chief of Mission of IOM in Somalia, during a formal ceremony held at the Minister’s office in Mogadishu this week.

The renewed MoU solidifies the partnership between the Federal Government of Somalia and IOM, providing a clear framework for joint initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of Somali citizens. This agreement marks a significant advancement in the cooperative relationship, focusing on enhancing coordination and expanding joint efforts across various government institutions.
