Addis Ababa(Mogadishu24)-State Minister and Acting Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, Ali Omar Mohamed on Tuesday landed at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to attend the Ministerial and the 44th AU Summit.The Chief of State Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Mr. Melaku Bedada welcomed the State Minister, Ali Omar at the Airport.He said that he will be chairing important ministerial committee on African candidatures in international systems, adding that he will also be attending the 44th AU Summit to represent Somalia, Eager to contribute to shaping Africa’s global role.“Arrived Addis Ababa, where I’ll be chairing the important ministerial committee on African candidatures in international systems. Additionally, I’ll be attending the 44th AU Summit to represent Somalia, Eager to contribute to shaping Africa’s global role”, the Minister said on X formerly Twitter.The 44th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council will take place on 14-15 February 2024 according to the schedule while 37th African Union Heads of States Summit will be on 17-18 February, 2024.
