Hargeysa(Mogadishu24)-The Breakaway Republic of Somaliland has on Thursday strongly condemned the recent deployment of Egyptian military forces in Somalia, warning that it threatens to destabilize the entire Horn of Africa.

The administartion called the move a serious risk to the region’s fragile peace and urged the international community to condemn Egypt’s actions.

Somaliland, asserting its sovereignty, categorically rejected any foreign military presence that could endanger regional stability. The statement emphasized that Somaliland will not tolerate actions that threaten its hard-won peace and urged global partners to act swiftly to prevent further destabilization.

This comes amid rising tensions between Somalia and Ethiopia, following the arrival of Egyptian military equipment in Somalia earlier this week.
