Las’ano(Mogadishu24)-The SSC-Khaatumo administration has strongly denied recent reports claiming that its leader held a phone conversation with the new president of Somaliland regarding the issue of Ceerigabo.

The administration labeled these claims as baseless and fabricated, accusing individuals opposed to the interests of SSC-Khaatumo of spreading such misinformation.

In a statement, the SSC-Khaatumo administration asserted that there has been no formal or informal communication with Somaliland, which they accused of committing war crimes against the people of SSC-Khaatumo.

The administration reiterated its leader’s commitment to safeguarding the rights and territorial integrity of the SSC-Khaatumo region, ruling out any possibility of negotiations or compromises with Somaliland.

“This administration stands firm in its commitment to defend every inch of SSC-Khaatumo’s territory, honoring the sacrifices of our people and the principles that form the foundation of our existence,” the statement read.

The SSC-Khaatumo leadership has referred the matter to legal authorities, calling for an investigation and prosecution of those responsible for disseminating what it described as false reports.

They also emphasized that SSC-Khaatumo remains resolute in its stance against any engagement with Somaliland, rejecting any attempts to undermine the region’s sovereignty.
