SSC-Khaatumo has announced that it will investigate the alleged murder that took place on the 20th of this month in Laascaanood, in which an employee of the Ethiopian Consulate in Garowe was reportedly killed.

The Police Commander of SSC-Khaatumo, Siyaad Maxamuud Cabdiraxmaan, confirmed last night that the body of Farah Jama Caydiid, an employee of the Ethiopian Consulate, was found early in the morning on the 20th of this month, near Laascaanood.

The body of Farah was discovered at 7:49 AM on Sunday, and security forces are currently in possession of the remains.

Brigadier General Siyaad stated that the investigation is ongoing and assured that those responsible for the murder would be brought to justice promptly. He also warned that individuals spreading false information about the case would be held accountable under the law.

“The investigation is underway, and those responsible for this crime will be quickly brought to justice,” said Brigadier General Siyaad.

Security agencies have promised that the public will be provided with official information regarding this case.
