Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The New Director of the Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency, Abdullahi Mohamed Ali ‘Sanbalolshe’ has on Tuesday officially taken office at a handing over ceremony held at the Agency Headquarter in Mogadishu.

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud participated the handing over occasion, and appreciated former Director, Mahad Salad Mohamed for serving the nation in the past two years, while urging the new boss to redouble agency’s action against Al-Shabaab.

“You are working for the Somali nation, but not for the leaving or incoming Directorate, you should build confidence in the public and welcome them. The Service ahead of us, is be united to the fight against Al-Shabaab”, President Hassan told the staff.
