Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Under-Secretary-General of the UN Department of Operational Support, Mr. Atul Khare, arrived in Mogadishu for talks aimed at reinforcing the partnership between the United Nations and Somalia. He was welcomed by Hamza Hadow, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia.

“This visit underscores the strong partnership we share with the United Nations as we work together towards a peaceful and prosperous future for our nation,” said Hadow. The meeting highlights ongoing collaboration between the Somali government and the UN in addressing security, development, and humanitarian challenges.

During his visit, Mr. Khare is expected to engage in discussions with key Somali government officials to further explore ways to enhance cooperation in areas crucial to Somalia’s stability and progress.

This visit follows a series of high-level talks held last week, reflecting the commitment of both parties to a secure and peaceful Somalia.
