Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Minister of Internal Security of the Somali Federal Government, Mohamed Ahmed Dodishe revealed 15’000 soldiers of the National Army forces will attend the second phase of the offensive war against Al-Shabaab.The Minister said that the Government was preparing these forces in the past seven months, indicating that it was reasons behind the delay came to the on-going military operation in the country, in particular, the 2nd phase of the fighting.“We have prepared extra 15’000 SNA soldiers in the past seven months, we deployed many of them to the frontlines now, the offensive operation aims at eliminating the terrorists throughout the country”, he said.The Minister underscored that the Federal Government of Somalia is committed to liberating areas still the group fighters’ controll.Security Minister’s remarks came a day two days after Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) serving under African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS); in conjunction with US African Command and Bancroft mentors, have passed out 430 Danab Special Forces command graduates who are expected to joint war.“The graduates demonstrated skills attained in VIP protection, Counter Insurgence operations, Quick Reaction to insurgence raid missions and counter explosive ordinance devices“, ATMIS Force Spokesperson, Abdullahi Hassan Ganale said in a statement released yesterday.
