Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Al-Shabaab militants implemented the building and repairing of hospital in Kunya-barow town in lower Shabelle region in southern Somalia, becoming the second large medical fascilaity under its control after the one in Jilib district in middle Juba region.

The group’s affiliated media published photos of the hospital by name, ‘Kuunya-Barrow General Hospital’ and said that fund was collected from residents in the town and the amount of the money was identified as 235,000 dollars while 10’000 dollars of this was not yet paid.

Al-Shabaab militant officials attended the opening ceremony of the hospital and some of them were hidden, in order, not to be recognized well as the photos show. The hospital seems to have been well-equipped with many wards for the services and treatment of patients separately.

The group stablished its first major hospital in Jilib district in middle Juba region about 380 kilometers south of the capital Mogadishu.

The surprising is that the group used English language for the rooms and wards of the hospital as shown in the photos released.
