Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Al-Shabaab militant commented on the agreement between Somaliland and Ethiopian Government, leasing 20KM of sea to Ethiopia in exchange of recognition, calling it ‘a joint plot’ arranged in Djibouti by Muse Bihi and President Hassan last week.

Spokersperson for Al-Shabaab, Ali Dheere said that it will never be possible that Ethiopia to access the Somali sea, calling for people to defend their sea and land.

He described the move of the Somaliland’s signature of the agreement to this matter is a threat like Israelis capturing Palestine. ” We will not accept it and there will be a bloodshed to defend this”, he said.

Al-Shabaab, a terrorist organization emerged in late 2006 when Ethiopian forces entered into Somali territory.
