Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-At least four children were injured at a house in Bondhere district in the capital Mogadishu after several rounds of mortar shells landed into some districts including Waberi, and Yakshid on Saturday evening. Parents of the victims told local TV stations that there children were hospitalized at Kalkaal and Jazeera medical facilities, disproving Police claims that fake bombs were happening in the captal. Spokesman for the Somali Police forces, Abdifitah Adam Hasan said the bombs were fake and did not cause casualties, but instead he said that Al-Shabaab member and two of his children died and his wife was injured in an IED at his house in Celasha-Biyaha about 20 kilometers south of the capital Mogadishu. Al-Shabaab militants claimed the responsibility for the attack and injured three government soldiers at Police Station in Waberi district. It has also claimed that its fighters attacked Government bases in five districts in Mogadishu.
