Djibouti(Mogadishu24)- The President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh on Wednesday opened the School Nitobé Inazo in Balbala, a modern school that included an elementary school with 20 classrooms and a library, as well as a college with 44 classes including 10 laboratories and computer rooms.The Minister of National Education, Moustapha Mohamed Mahamoud participated in the inauguration of this school which is an important step forward for education in Djibouti with a capacity of 596 primary and 1172 middle school students, it will house children from the new Nassib district.Japanese Government supported Djibouti in implementing such useful educational projects according to a statement from the office of the Presidency.“The result of cooperation with Japan, the school also has a large sports complex for the practice of football, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics and gymnastics. This proximity equipment with modern teaching tools will provide optimal learning conditions for families and children”, the statement said.
