Djibouti(Mogadishu24)-A forum for the resolution of the modern policy of Djibouti’s ruling party, the People’s Rally for Progress (RPP), was opened on Saturday in Djibouti, focusing on redefining the party’s new dynamics.The main objective of this forum was to explore new strategy patterns and strengthen unity within the party, promote development, and expand innovation to combat the challenges.Discussions focused on redefining the party’s goals in the evolving context of contemporary politics.The forum was attended by the party’s vice-president, Prime Minister Abdoulkadir Kamil Mohamed, the Secretary-General and Minister of Finance and Economy Ilyas Mousa Dawaleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and deputy party secretary, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, and members of the party’s executive committee and the party’s supporters across the country.The party’s vice-president, Prime Minister Abdoulkadir Kamil Mohamed, emphasized the importance of this forum to transform the party’s strategies and goals.He stated that this forum will improve the effective governance of the party and the provision of quality services to the citizens.“This is an important forum to strengthen the strategies and the goals of the party to provide effective and efficient governance and improve the delivery of services to our people,” the Prime Minister said.“It reflects our responsibility to improve the party’s internal management to promote collaborative efforts to respond to contemporary issues, both within politics and outside politics,” he added.The party’s Secretary-General, Ilyas Mousa Dawaleh, who is the Minister of Economy and Finance, said that this forum opens a platform for discussion and brings new ideas and opinions for reforms.“The launch of the RPP debates and exchanges is an opportunity to listen to constructive criticism from comrades and also to hear suggestions and new ideas from our executives and activists who are present at the forum,” said Ilyas Mousa Dawaleh.The Deputy Secretary-General of the RPP Party, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Djibouti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, underlined the importance of exchanging ideas, opinions, and insights in the party’s progress to bring efficient internal management policies.“The forum for policy promotes sharing opinions and discussing innovative ideas that would lead to the strengthening of our internal management policies. This change in internal issues will promote transformation and sustainable progress,” said Minister Mahmoud Ali Youssouf.Over the years, Djibouti has transformed its institutions, including finance, trade and investment, health, water, housing, and statistical and data institutions.Its strategic location in Africa and its unique natural resources have positioned Djibouti as a key trade hub on the continent, attracting investments and strengthening bilateral relations with countries, including France, the United States, Russia, Italy, China, and several Arab nations.
