Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Former Parliament Members of Southwest State in Somali, Ali Omar Gaab was on Friday evening killed in Mogadishu’s Shibis district by gunmen armed with pistols according to local authorities. Al-Shabaab militants claimed the responsibility for the attack while the perpetrators escaped from the scene as soon as they carried out the ambush assassination according to sources. It is not new that Al-Shabaab fighters conduct deadly target attacks against government officials, community leaders or popular fighters in and outside the capital Mogadishu, despited heavy security presence.
