Qoryoley(Mogadishu24)-At least four civilians were on Wednesday killed, and several others were injured after Al-Shabaab militants detonated a car filled with explosives in a crowded place in Bula Sheikh area of Qoryoley district in the Lower Shabelle region southern Somalia.The Governor of lower Shabelle region, Mohamed Ibrahim Barre told to th state-run radio Mogadishu that the car exploded in a crowded area where civilians had gathered.“The car explosion in Bula Sheikh killed four civilians. It occurred in a crowded area where civilians had gathered,” the Governor said.There are no independence sources that provides further details on today’s deadly incident in this volatile region. About 10 people were killed and more than 10 others injured after their vehicle ran-over Improvised Explosive Devices in the same region in August this year.This explosion occurred four days after more than 30 people, mostly civilians died, and over 50 others were injured after a suicide truck bomb attack in Beledweyne town in Hiiraan region in central Somalia on Saturday.Beledweyne explosion had completely destroyed more than 300 residential houses, 2 petrol stations, and more than 20 commercial areas near the checkpoint.
