Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Banadir Regional Administration (BRA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on national development initiatives. This partnership aimed to adopt a whole-of-government, whole-of-society approach to achieving sustainable solutions for Somalia.

Frantz Celestin, Chief of Mission for IOM Somalia, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in a X post today.

The Mayor of Mogadishu and Governor of Banadir Region, H.E. Yusuf Hussein, launched a cooperative program involving the Banadir Region, the UN Office in Somalia, and the IOM. This program is part of a technical plan focused on finding solutions for the displaced populations in the Banadir Region, emphasizing the commitment to address local challenges and support development.
