Kismayo(Mogadishu24)-Jubaland State forces backed by the Somali National Army on Thursday foiled attempted terrorist attack by Al-Shabaab fighters at Barsanguni area near Kismayo town in lower Jubba region.

The regional State TV reported that the joint forces the militants during the fight and pushed them, saying it would soon release an update about the operation happened in the area this morning.

Al-Shabaab militants did not comment on the latest claims of the Jubaland State forces in the region.
